First and foremost, I am a life-long hockey fan. I witnessed my first live, NHL game at the old Olympia in Detroit in 1963. In those days, fans wore a suit and tie to the game and yes, I did too.
I saw Gordie Howe break the Rocket's goal scoring record. I witnesses first hand, the last three Stanley Cup victories of the Wings. I am a Wings fan, but as I get older, I am a fan of the game. Hockey is in my blood, I live and breathe the game.
I have held numerous jobs, mostly in marketing and sales positions, but since February 2005, I am a full-time hockey blogger/website owner. I started blogging during the NHL lockout, and now Kuklas's Korner(http://www.kuklaskorner.com/index.php/) has become a must stop visit for hockey fans worldwide.
I also write a weekly blog feature(http://fans.nhl.com/paul_kukla) for NHL.com(http://www.nhl.com/) which normally appears every Tuesday.
Make no mistake about it, I am a hockey fan, not a journalist. You won't get prose spinning from me, but instead, the heartbeat and passion many hockey fans have. I tell it like it is, or in some instances, tell it like it should be.
I look forward to my relationship with Hockey.com and as always, invite you to share any hockey story you may have. I can be reached at pk@kuklaskorner.com.
Now, drop the puck and let's play some hockey!
